My name is Derek and I recently had the pleasure of taking a trip to College Station, Texas with my family. We had heard about all the great outdoor attractions and activities in Texas, so we decided to rent an RV for the week and we were all excited for the RV trip that College Station, Texas had to offer.
We wasted no time getting started on our trip and kicked it off with a guided nature hike. We explored some of the city’s most scenic trails and Aggieland parks and took in the natural beauty of College Station. The lush greenery and different wildlife species were truly a sight to behold, and we even spotted some rare birds along the way!
The next day, we attended a food truck rally in downtown College Station. There were so many delicious foods to choose from and the atmosphere was electric with the live music and fun activities for everyone. After we had our fill of food, we gathered around a campfire to view stars from the RV’s rooftop and learn about constellations and other celestial phenomena from an experienced guide.
On the third day, we took the RV off-roading in nearby forests for an exciting day of exploring the outdoors. We even spotted some wild animals! We also rented a kayak and paddle board from one of College Station’s many lakes and rivers and enjoyed some fun in the sun on the water with friends and family.
We visited local farmers markets to sample fresh produce, homemade goods, and other locally sourced products while getting to know the community better. Afterward, we had a picnic lunch or dinner at one of College Station’s many parks, complete with outdoor games and activities for all ages.
We ended our trip with an outdoor movie night under the stars using the RV’s projector for a unique cinematic experience.
Our trip to College Station was an incredible experience and one that we won’t soon forget. We had so much fun exploring the outdoors and learning about the local culture. Thanks to Karstens RV Resort for making our stay memorable and amazing. We’re already planning our next trip back!
